Third Place – INFORMS 2025 Data Challenge - Atlanta
Our team secured Third Place in the 2025 INFORMS Data Challenge for our paper titled “Geo-Temporal Deep Learning Framework for Forecasting Weather-Driven Power Outages.”
This project addressed the challenge of predicting power grid disruptions using spatial-temporal modeling and deep learning techniques.
Building on our 2024 second-place finish for video popularity prediction, we expanded our research to infrastructure resilience, leveraging geospatial and temporal data for real-world impact.

Second Place – 2024 INFORMS Data Challenge - Seattle
Awarded for the paper “An Integrated Multi-Modal Feature Extraction and Deep Learning Framework for Short Video Popularity Prediction.”
Developed a deep learning framework for predicting TikTok video popularity using multi-modal feature extraction.
Recognized for innovative research and model implementation in AI-driven content analysis.
